The Project

lines

VegaCoffee's goal for their website was to sell coffee directly from their farmers in Costa Rica with a subscription service. We included features like U.S. based shipping, single order processing, and automated subscriptions for customers. The website was coded from scratch with the help of Shopify which allowed us to add interactive features. These features include moving graphics, a newsletter, and a custom-built ordering system to personalize coffee subscriptions. There is also a brew guide for users to learn about every kind of coffee-making method.

The Process

lines

This project flexed all of our technical and creative muscles. We had to create custom subscription solutions that weren't available in theird party plug-ins, ensure that our designs were responsive to all devices and screen resolutions, and that the site's assets loaded quickly. We also had to include animated images, which was fairly cutting edge during the time of this website launch.

In addition, we had the added pressure of this being Vega's first website. They did not have online sales until we created the website. Therefore, we had to ensure the website correctly matched their vision, brand, and purpose.

The desktop platform allows users to purchase and gain more resources regarding coffee. The interactive layout lets customers navigate their way through the site in an engaging way. The website is completely responsive so it is compatible with anything ranging from mobile devices to 4K retina displays.
